I was able to find a very interesting blog over the internet on 40 Tips For Your Home, and I find it really interesting and impressive as well because it was able to tell me tons of things that I have never thought that I could possibly do inside my own house, especially the ones about curtains. It says there to use soft furnishings and curtains to retain heat inside the room. According to the blog, soft cloth curtains and drapes can retain heat. The tip is to make sure that before winter comes, the soft curtains should already be hanged in place so it could keep the heat in the room, and said that it would be most effective if the house doesn’t have efficient windows. I didn’t know that there are particular curtains that could actually generate heat for the entire room and with this; I can actually use the tip both ways. First is of course the tip that I should use soft cloth curtains when it is about to get cold so we could have a nice and warm room, or second, avoid using them in the middle of summer because it can make a room feel like a pressure cooker.
